【留学生】Course Selection for Postgraduates 2021-11-30


After receiving the notice regarding the courses selection, all postgraduates should login the Information Management system for Postgraduates to choose the courses on time. The system will be shut down after the course selections period ends. Please pay attention to the schedule.

Course selection contains two steps. Step 1, design study plan; step 2, confirm class.


STEP1: Design study plan

Study plan refers to the plan for the whole studying years for each postgraduate based on his or her program, including the courses and all the compulsory parts.

Students should design the study plan under the instruction of the supervisors.


STEP2: Confirm class

Class is fixed every semester. Once the class is confirmed, the time and place for the course is fixed.

★There is a limitation of student number for each class. Early come, early served. If you fail to confirm the class, you should discuss with your supervisor to change your study plan.

★The campus of each course is marked in the system. Principally, it will not change for the whole semester.


Course Adjustment

Course Adjustment means students can adjust their personal study plan or classes which has been submitted in the Information Management System. Course Adjustment must meet the requirement of the study of corresponding program. Supervisor’s approval is preliminary.

Notice

★Please complete course adjustment before the DDL. The system will be shut down after appointed period.

★Course adjustment shall be conducted under the instruction of the supervisor. Students should apply from the system first. Second, the supervisor need to confirm in the system. Finally, the educational administrator shall approve the adjustment. After finishing the three steps above, the course adjustment will be completed.

★For the class adjustment, students can operate by themselves in the information management system directly. The supervisor and the educational administrator will not check and approve it.


Saving the study plan

After course adjustment, please submit two hard copies of your study plan to the supervisor and the educational administrator to get their approval and handwritten signature.Then Submit one to the educational administrator and keep one for yourself.


Others

★Students should apply from your school and the school which offer the course for course adjustment within two weeks after the course starting. Adjustment application will not be accepted after the required time.

★Students should attend the classes and exams according to their study plan .

★Students should retake the courses, if they fail the course. Students are not allowed to  retake the course, once they pass it.
